WHO IS RENE?
My artistic name is Rene Vie O'Vera and I am an active artist since 1996.
I've acquired my skills through studies of history of art and traditional and experimental teqniques of decorative and applyed art. Iam taking inspiration from various styles, trends , movements, traditions and mythologies.
Keeping up with ancient cultures as well as contemporary art allowed me to develope my own style in teqnique of oil and acrylic painting with focus on eclectic composition. Trendy manga, ornamental caligraphy, signwriting, mural art and custom portrait are also in my sphere.
Most influential styles that brought me my own experimental avant-garde feature-form are impressionism, figurative surrealism, geometric symbolism, abstract art, clasical portrait, imaginative landscape, pop-art with modernism, visual interest in architecture and Dutch-school of floral, scenery & pottery object painting.
My paintings are a personal confession of my emotional reflection of intimacy, reality, imagination, consideration of ideas & contemplations. In my work iam implementing all aspects of art-divisions from figurative adaptations,
action painting, collage and mixed media, nudes and portrait, playfull compositions with reflec-ability and improvisation.
Folowing story-telling space of "stage-crafted dramatization" with nuances of fashionable eccentricity my art brings a modern document to sequenced mannerism, perpetual conceptualism and ambient minimalism.
